Life coaching is different from counselling since clients in most cases are considered healthy and wish to move forward from their present situations. People who seek life coaching do so for a variety of reasons but usually with the goal to move ahead professionally and personally.
Life coaches are strategic thinkers, realists, and innovative partners. By entering into an agreement with a life coach you will get assistance in setting and achieving specific goals; in ensuring accountability to your dreams, goals, and action steps; and in being offered the knowledge and expertise in the areas which you want to improve. You will get help to solve challenging problems; you will be provided open and honest feedback that is objective and helpful; you will be taught how to identify and change distorted beliefs and habits that sabotage success; you will learn to identify and maximize strengths and minimize weaknesses; you will be offered guidance which will help you stay on track, lead you safely through mistakes and delays, give you skills and ideas that endure past the coaching period, and celebrate your successes.
For example, you might seek a coach when choosing a career, changing careers, or trying to improve your leadership skills. You might want to enhance an existing relationship, deal with a life transition like divorce or the empty nest, or to achieve more balance between work and home life.
Whatever your reasons, a life coach can help you Aspire Too!

Critical Incident Stress Management
Critical Stress Management is a flexible, short-term psychological treatment process that focuses on immediate resolution to acute crisis management and post crisis follow-up. This service is available for individuals, small or large groups, within families or the workplace. The goal of this treatment is to assist in processing acute trauma and to prevent the development of post-traumatic stress disorder in people who have been exposed to trauma. The process will help manage strong emotions and assistance in returning to optimal functioning following a critical event.
Mediation is a process where an impartial third party helps two or more parties discuss a dispute and work toward a solution that is acceptable to all parties. Participation is voluntary. Mediation is not a substitute for legal advice. In most situations, it is still advisable to consult with a lawyer before and during the mediation process. It is also advisable to have a lawyer review any written agreement before it is signed. Unlike a judge or arbitrator, the mediator does not decide the outcome of the dispute. Mediated agreements tend to succeed because they result from a process that allows parties to create their own solutions.
Aspire Too creates an environment where both parties can discuss the issues and explore potential options in a productive way. We will not provide legal advice or make decisions for the parties. Past clients noted the following benefits of the service:
- Mutual satisfaction
- Effective results
- Enhanced communications between the parties
- Participants lead the process
- Tailor-made solutions to disputes
Aspire Too has experience in mediating the following:
- Family mediation to resolve disputes during times of family crisis, such as separation or divorce. Issues that may cause conflict, such as plans for children, division of property and financial arrangements, may be resolved through mediation.
- Parent/teen conflicts: Resolving disputes between parents and teenagers.
- Workplace: to resolve conflict between employers and employees.
I wanted to send a quick note to thank you again for your work with our team this past week. I’ve had an opportunity to debrief with both of them now and they are both feeling very positive and hopeful for the future. They had really great things to say about you and your approach. It’s a challenging and emotional process to go through a mediation but your approach made them feel as comfortable as possible. Family Bridges Consulting and Facilitation
Parental alienation often occurs during the breakdown of a marriage and is considered a severe form of psychological abuse to the children involved. Research suggests that both moms and dads may engage in behaviour either intentionally or unintentionally that alienates children from a rejected parent.
The Family Bridges workshop is firmly grounded in well-accepted, peer-reviewed, and scientific research in cognitive, social, and developmental psychology, sociology and social neuroscience. With 23 years of history, the intervention has shown remarkable results at restoring the damaged relationship between the rejected parent and their children. Aspire Too is the official representation for Family Bridges Western Canada.
In four days the Family Bridges program accomplishes what therapists and the legal system have been unable to do. The goal of Family Bridges is to assist children in having a positive healthy relationship with both of their parents, a relationship that is intrinsically their right.
Contact Aspire Too today to learn more about workshop facilitation and availability for the Family Bridges program.
