I am a Registered Social Worker and earned my Master of Social Work from Dalhousie University, following a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina. I have spent my career supporting those with experiences of addiction, trauma, intercultural challenges, gender and sexual diversity, and other mental health issues, as well as providing acute clinical services to children, youth and adults. Sitting down with me means a safe place of nonjudgement, acceptance and patience, where I will work as a partner to help identify your strengths, reach your goals, and become the author of your own story.

I am passionate about justice and equality and never stop thinking about the root causes of mental and emotional health, professional and personal ‘successes’ and ‘failures’ that can be mostly beyond our control. I am trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, play therapy, systems theory, and my person-centred approach is deeply informed by lived experience. I am also an approved provider for those with Non-Insured Health Benefits for First Nations (NIHB).

I work with children (ages 3+), youth, and adults in the following clinical areas:

  • Anxiety
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Addiction and Substance Abuse
  • Abuse (Physical, emotional, sexual)
  • Academic and professional concerns
  • Body Image and Self Esteem
