Hello, my name is Caitlin Molloy, and it’s to meet you. Seeking counselling is a significant step in caring for your mental well-being. It is not easy reaching out for help, and I am very pleased to offer assistance.
A compassionate and understanding clinician, I view the client as complete and whole. We will find the solutions that best suit the client, drawing from many different concepts, including cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, solution-based therapy, and client-centred therapies. No two individuals are exactly alike; therefore, I will employ counselling approaches that best suit the moment.
I emphasize the importance of techniques in mindfulness and breathwork to calm the mind and nervous system and to encourage feeling, validation, and processing of thoughts and emotions. Our end objective will be to discover, understand and acknowledge the boundaries and values, and the purpose behind them.
I work with children, youth, and adults in the following areas:
- Anxiety
- Body Image/ Self-Esteem
- Depression
- Eating Disorders
- Emotional Awareness/ Emotional Regulation
- Healthy Boundaries
- Healthy Relationships
- Interpersonal Skills
- Personality Disorders
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder/ Trauma
