Jill Jenkins, BSW, RSW
Clinical Counsellor/Registered Social Worker
Jill is not accepting any new clients at this time; past and current clients are welcome to book.
I am a Registered Social Worker with over 17 years of experience working directly with youth, adults, families, and employees. I obtained my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina and have completed extensive additional training, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Advanced and Enhanced Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Mindfulness, and Brainspotting (Phase 1). I draw from a diverse range of therapeutic tools and integrate approaches thoughtfully, based on where you are at in your healing journey.
I am an experienced, caring, and compassionate clinician who practices from a client-centred and strength-based perspective. I support individuals who have experienced domestic and family violence, intergenerational abuse, trauma and complex trauma, addictions, self-abandonment, self-esteem challenges, suicidal ideation and self-harm, mood disorders (including depression, MDD, PMDD, and bipolar disorder), and anxiety disorders (including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorders). I also work with individuals navigating separation and divorce, grief and loss, co-parenting, boundary development, critical incident debriefing and trauma exposure, chronic stress, and leadership or employment-related challenges. I am deeply committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where true healing and transformation can occur.
Taking the first step to reach out for support can feel overwhelming! I recognize the courage it takes to be vulnerable and to share your story. I understand that the pain you are experiencing is real and can be difficult to navigate alone. I believe that even in the depths of profound pain, there is potential for growth, renewal, and reconnection with one’s authentic self. I am committed to walking alongside you with compassion as you move through healing, growth, and rediscovery. Personal growth and evolution are fundamental to wellness, and I am passionate about supporting individuals as they reclaim their strength and fully engage in life again.
