Clinical Counsellor / Registered Social Worker

I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s of Social Work degree with 24 years of experience working primarily with adults. I have worked in the areas of interpersonal family violence, community mental health and addictions, and most recently with the Canadian Armed Forces providing mental health and crisis support to service members adjusting to life in the military. I have broad experience using psychosocial assessments to inform treatment options tailored to my clients’ unique situations. I bring a framework of social work theory and practice that includes trauma-informed care; anti-oppressive practice; the person-in-totality concept; empowerment and family systems theory. I have training and experience in various evidence- based therapy modalities. I work with individual adults (18+) in the following areas:

Outside of work I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends and getting reacquainted with Saskatoon since moving back from BC. I am a lifelong learner in order to gain knowledge on how I can best serve others.
