Camille McDaid, BA, BSW, MSW, RSW
Clinical Counsellor/Registered Social Worker

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to people’s stories, their resilience, their quiet strengths, and the ways they continue moving forward even when life feels overwhelming. My work is rooted in a deep respect for the human experience and a belief in each person’s capacity for growth and healing.

I value gentleness, honesty, and creating spaces where people feel safe enough to exhale and simply be themselves. Throughout my 25-year career, I have worked alongside individuals facing complex life challenges in the areas of mental health, addictions, and the criminal justice system. This work has strengthened my belief that healing does not require perfection or certainty. Often, it begins with one small, courageous step toward change.

I consider it a privilege to be invited into my clients’ journeys and approach this work with humility, compassion, and genuine curiosity. My goal is to support individuals in reconnecting with their strengths, navigating life’s challenges, and moving toward the life they want to create.

I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers and hold a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Calgary, specializing in Clinical Social Work Practice and Trauma-Informed Care. My practice is grounded in trust, collaboration, and respect for the unique experiences and strengths each client brings.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s needs. Drawing from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and trauma-informed practice, I work alongside clients to build on their strengths and create meaningful, lasting change.

I believe meaningful healing occurs through connection and strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, supported, and understood.

I provide counselling services to individuals aged 16 and older and am a registered provider with the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Program.
