Erica Morrill, BA BSW MSW RSW
Social Worker
My passion for social work is rooted in helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and practical support. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Through kind, direct, and engaging feedback, I work alongside clients to build on their strengths, overcome barriers, and develop greater confidence in themselves and their relationships.
My professional background includes several years with the Saskatchewan Health Authority as an Assessor Coordinator, supporting individuals and families through complex transitions in both acute care and community settings. I also bring experience in child protection, mental health, cri-sis intervention, and frontline work supporting children and families impacted by trauma. I com-pleted my Master of Social Work (MSW) practicum at Aspire Too, where I further developed my clinical skills providing therapy to individuals facing a variety of mental health and life challenges.
My journey in social work has also taken me beyond Canada. In South Africa, I facilitated restora-tive justice programs and group therapy sessions, while studying and living in Denmark broad-ened my understanding of development, international relations, and the diverse ways people ex-perience pain, healing, and resilience. These experiences continue to shape my culturally respon-sive, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach to therapy.
I work with individuals (16+), couples, and families experiencing concerns such as:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Addiction and substance use
- Self-esteem and body image concerns
- Grief and loss,
- Medical trauma and chronic illness
- Relationship challenges, dating concerns
life transitions.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy to help clients better understand themselves, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, explore the impact of past experiences, and create lasting, meaningful change. Whether you are navigating the end of a relationship, struggling with anxiety or self-esteem, adjusting to a new chapter in life, or simply looking for a supportive space to talk, I am committed to helping you move toward greater wellbe-ing and a stronger, more authentic sense of self.
