Jill Jenkins, BSW, RSW
Clinical Counsellor/Registered Social Worker

*Jill is not accepting new clients at this time*

I am a Registered Social Worker who has worked directly with adults, youth, families, and employees for the last 16 years.  I obtained my Bachelors of Social Work through the University of Regina and have acquired numerous additional certifications in ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), Solution Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Mindfulness. I am currently working towards my Post-Graduate Certificate in Organizational Leadership through the University of Regina. I consider myself to have diverse therapeutic tools, of which I will use a combination of approaches, that may evolve, depending on you are at in your healing journey.

I am an experienced, caring and compassionate clinician who is fundamentally strength based.  I have worked with individuals who have experienced domestic violence, family violence, intergenerational abuse, addictions, self abandonment, self esteem issues, suicidal ideation and self harm, depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorders, separation and divorce, co-parenting, healthy boundary development, grief and loss, critical incident debriefings and trauma, managing chronic stress, and leadership/employment struggles.  I also have a unique interest in organizational leadership and coaching employees and leaders to perform effectively and successfully without compromising their personal wellness.

I have had the privilege of working with the Indigenous population and have worked closely, for 8 years, with Indigenous communities in delivering quality custom programs and services to their communities.  I have gained immense awareness, knowledge and insight from these experiences, and have witnessed the intergenerational pain that exists due to our dark history.  Because of this work, I have a heart interest in Reconciliation and The Calls to Action, and a deep understanding that education and awareness is fundamental to moving us, collectively, in a better direction. I am an approved provider for those with Non-Insured Health Benefits for First Nations.

I am committed to professional development/education and ongoing personal growth to strive to continue to be impactful in this world, both professionally and personally. I have recently completed my Advanced and Enhanced ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) training and am thrilled to be able to offer this service to my clients. ART is effective in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and much more. I am committed to continue to provide a safe and caring space for you to allow for true healing and transformation.

Taking the first step to reach out for help can be scary!  I recognize the courage that it takes to be vulnerable to share your story and challenges.  I understand the pain that you are experiencing is very real and can be challenging to navigate through alone.  I, however, strongly believe that in the pit of deep pain can come a beautiful rebirth of a higher self.  I commit to compassionately walk along side you in your journey of growth and rediscovery.  Growing and evolving is fundamental to happiness and wellness.  I am passionate in assisting in this transformation so you can fully embrace life again.
