I am currently completing a practicum placement with Aspire Too through the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University.
Before entering the counselling profession, I spent several years working in human resources, where I had the privilege of supporting individuals through a variety of personal and professional challenges. This experience deepened my understanding of how stress, loss, mental health, workplace concerns, and major life changes can affect all aspects of our well-being. It also reinforced my passion for helping people navigate difficult experiences and recognize their own capacity for growth and resilience.
Now, as a developing counsellor, I strive to support individuals and couples who are experiencing a range of concerns. Whether you are coping with a significant change, feeling overwhelmed by daily demands, or seeking greater clarity and fulfillment in your life, I provide a supportive space where you can explore your experiences openly and without judgment.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that everyone is the expert in their own life. I employ a variety of modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as I continue to grow and learn.
I work with couples and individuals who are 16+ in the following areas:
- Anxiety
- Anger Management
- Depression
- PTSD
- OCD
- Grief and Loss
- Stress Management
- Life Transitions
- Relationship Issues
- Career Changes
