Welcome to Aspire Too’s Family Restoration Services
Since 2016, Aspire Too has been committed to assisting families through separation and divorce. Often during these times, the ability to be amicable and manage emotions can go straight out the window.
Children may become affected, and conflict can escalate. While separation or divorce does not change the members of a family, the structure of the family is altered, and the goal for all families is to create a new family paradigm that will work best for all involved, especially the children. The concept and implementation of co-parenting varies for each family. That’s why we have now expanded our services to work with you to restore your family to a way that works best for everyone!
In assisting individuals of separation or divorce, we have learned that it often comes with a range of grief emotions, division, and the erosion of relationships. Even though parents have made the decision to discontinue their marital relationship, the children did not ultimately make the decision to end their relationship with a parent, but emotions can be contagious. We believe that inclusion of all members of the family is important due to the uniqueness that each individual will experience through this difficult time in their life. During your consultation process we will work with you to determine which services may be most suitable for your family situation.
Our Family Restoration team is specially trained in all levels of high conflict divorce. We are here to assist families in moving towards a new family paradigm where they learn valuable skills to establish positive and healthy relationships for years to come. Research shows that both parents may engage in behaviour that is harmful to the children and while this isn’t always intentional, it is our belief that the damage to parent-child relationships that occurs can be minimized and, in some cases, avoided altogether. Our Family Restoration Services offer both individual and group learning opportunities for children, parents, and families.
Under Aspire Too’s Family Restoration Services Division, our expanded service options include:
– Children’s Groups
– Individual counselling support for children
– Individual grief counselling for adults to move through hurts and resentments utilizing therapeutic approaches such as DBT, ART, CBT, etc.
– Divorce Coaching
– Active Parenting Groups
– New Ways for Families (NWFF) programming to assist with developing the skills for better decision making and communication
– Parental alienation education, webinars, workshops, and parental coaching
– Family Counselling
– Mediation Services
These services can be accessed voluntarily or by court order.
